Hello, and welcome to my blog. Oryxiana, so called because I made a documentary, some years ago, about the unicorn of legend; The Arabian Oryx.
I am new to living in Saudi Arabia and wanted to share my experiences both good and bad through this blog. I hope to give insight, from my perspective, into all aspects of living in a country which for the most part is inaccessible to the non muslim world.
I was a documentary and investigative film maker for twenty five years before re-inventing myself as a screen writer. I have yet to sell my first script, but seem to be getting closer to the mark. Not counting on a Oscar anytime soon, but you never know the next one might be “The One”.
